2011 is rounding out nicely, besides touring w/Lucero, , there've been some awfully fun sessions and gigs. In fact, Lucero has just finished up working on their new record. It's gonna be pretty amazing! Looking forward to the post-xmas east coast run.

Very fun times w/the Iguanas. Got to play their Jazzfest set which wound up in the season finale of Treme.

I'm a big fan of Bob Dorough, ever since I heard 'Blue Xmas' in the mid-70's and actually got to play a few tunes with him at the Levitt Shell this summer. Quite a highlight! What a guy.

John Kilzer's new record - spectacular.


I did a west coast 'blues cruise' with guitar giants Jimmy Thackery/JP Soars and got to play some shows with the always great Bobby "Blue" Bland while on board!

Billy Seward has got a new record out called Better Place which features a bunch of great Memphis players... Al Gamble, George Sluppick, and many others. Check it out!

Looking forward to putting more horns on Frazey Ford's ongoing project at Royal w/the Hodges Brothers.

Glossary's new record got some horns this summer as well. A GREAT record for sure..

Maybe the Ten High & the Trashed Romeos recordings will be released someday.
